SIA Door Supervisor

In order to work as a door supervisor in the UK, it is a legal requirement that you hold a current valid SIA licence. If anyone is caught working as a door person without this accreditation, they are fined and may face criminal charges. Whilst this may seem an overzealous response by the UK government, it does mean that the standards being attained by all door supervisors have been dramatically improved since the introduction of the SIA badge and it also means that those holding a full licence are instantly in demand for work.

SIA Door Supervisor Course

To get qualified and get your SIA badge, you will need to attend a two part training course as well as sit two exams.  The approved SIA course from Events Management can be undertaken over a 4 day intensive course or over a period of time to suit you. As long as you complete the training and exam within a twelve month period, you are still eligible to qualify.

The door supervision course run by events is held in their purpose build training facility at their Northampton head office. The courses are held every month and are run by experienced industry professionals headed up by Neil Alexander.

This is delivered in two parts, both of which include 14 hours of training which is delivered through classroom teaching as well as role playing.

Part 1 – Role and Responsibilities of Door Supervisors in the Security Industry Environment

Part 2 – Communication Skills and Conflict Management (14 hours)

Costs And Course Details
