Who needs NCDS?

If you want to work as a door supervisor in England and Wales you need to have a licence issued by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). Without a licence you can’t legally work on the door of licensed premises.

  • Possess a Recognised Door Supervision Qualification

The Qualification Consists of Two Units:

Unit 1 – Roles and responsibilities of Door Supervisors

Unit 2 – Conflict Management for Door Supervisors

How Will I Be Assessed?

There are two examinations, one for each unit.

Exam 1 – 40 Question Multiple-choice exam

Exam 2 – 40 Question Multiple-choice exam

How Long Will The Course Take?

The course will take 15 hours per unit, including exams and is held at the training centre in Moulton Park. (Alternative locations for the training can be discussed depending on numbers.)
